Now offering Basic EKG Rhythm Interpretation class & Pharmacology classes at our Conway Rd location

This is a great class to prepare students to take the advanced life support classes, but may also be taken separately if not pursuing advanced life support certification. 

Advanced life support certification classes require students to have the ability to recognize and treat basic cardiac rhythms. This is part 1 of the initial certification / full ACLS course. Also open to anyone wanting to learn or brush up on basic cardiac rhythm recognition. Student Workbook is included in course fee.

This class includes (but not limited to):

Rhythm interpretation: NSR, SB, ST, SVT, VF, VT, asystole, a-fib, a-flutter, and heart blocks - steps to identify rhythms correctly

Electrical therapy: cardiac monitor lead placement, determining when it is appropriate to use electrical therapy (defibrillation, synchronized cardioversion, and transcutaneous pacing) instead of medications

Pharmacology: Intro to medications commonly used in codes, emergency care, and to treat arrythmias

Course fee: $65.00

Location: Conway Rd location

Class dates: This class is also titled "ACLS - Day 1, Part 1", but students may take this class alone, if not taking ACLS.

Requirements: ECG & Pharmacology Student Workbook (by AHA) is included for use during class. It will be distributed at the time of class
