Required class materials: BLS for Healthcare
Providers manual, American Heart Association, 2010
edition - you can purchase the manual from us for $20,
or you can use one of our manuals during class for
$10. BLS manuals will be distributed at the time of
class - no advance preparation is required for this class

*Health care providers or students studying in a health
care field may attend any "BLS/CPR" class on the
class calendar. Class includes CPR and AED use.
Students will receive the American Heart
Association's Basic Life Support for Healthcare
Providers certification card, upon successful
completion of the course.

*The First Aid training class is a SEPARATE CLASS
from CPR/Basic Life Support. If you need both
training classes, select the combo First Aid +
BLS/CPR, and enter both a date and time for your
First Aid class, as well as a date and time for your
CPR class (you may take them both on the same day
or on different days. For the CPR class, choose any of
the "BLS/CPR" classes on our calendar). For our First
Aid classes, a manual is not required, and everything
will be provided at class.

  • If in health care and taking both BLS/CPR and
    First Aid, each student is required to have a
    current BLS provider manual
